Numerička konstrukcija Kronrodovih kvadratura i primjene
Kronrodove kvadrature su dio mnogih softverskih paketa za numeričku integraciju i njihova konstrukcija je veoma atraktivan problem. Koriste se za pouzdanu procjenu greške Gausovih kvadratura koje se smatraju jednom od najpopularnijih metoda za aproksimaciju linearnih funkcionala i kao takve imaju brojne primjene (npr. analiza kompleksnih mreža )....

Topološke i kombinatorne osobine nekih važnih kompleksa
U pokušaju rješavanja različitih problema u kombinatorici, geometriji, algebri, (kao i u još nekim oblastima matematike)se na prirodan način pojave simplicijalni kompleksi. Topološka i kombinatorna svojstva tih kompleksa su tema izučavanja nekih vodećih svjetskih matematičara (Ričard Stenli, Ginter Cigler, Laslo Lovas, Anders Bjerner, itd...). Od posebnog značaja je pronalaženje veza između kombinatornih i topoloških osobina tih kompleksa i polaznog problema.

Primjena kvadraturnih formula u izračunavanju granica matričnih funkcionala
U ovom projektu ćemo proučavati sljedeća tri problema: 1. Upotreba uopštenih Gaus-Radau kvadratura u kojima fiksirani čvor ima višestrukost veću od jedan. Ove kvadrature do sada nisu primjenjivane za aproksimaciju matričnih funkcionala. Za njihovo izračunavanje planiramo odrediti algoritam za dobijanje analoga matrice T_k iz (2), koji je zasad nepoznat. 2. Slično se planira uraditi i za Gaus-Lobato kvadrature...

Podjela kolača je metafora za lepezu problema iz stvarnog života. Kombinatorne metode u topologiji i njihova primjena na probleme Tverbergovog tipa
Obojena Tverbergova teorema je jedna od centralnih tema u kombinatornoj geometriji. Pored velikog broja primjena, ova teorema je važna i zato jer se u dokazu teoreme koriste rezultati iz različitih oblasti matematike.
