Accreditation

The University of Banja Luka was accredited (re-accredited) on 21 March 2024. The Decision on Accreditation of the University of Banja Luka was issued by the Agency for Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Srpska. In this way, it was confirmed that the quality standard of the University's work is in accordance with the standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European area of higher education (ESG standard) and the criteria for accreditation of higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The request for accreditation (re-accreditation of the institution and accreditation of study programmes) and the necessary documentation were submitted by the University of Banja Luka in June 2023.

After a series of activities and procedures, the External Evaluation Committee prepared a report according to which the University of Banja Luka meets the requirements of standards and quality for the issuance of a decision on accreditation (re-accreditation).

In accordance with the aforementioned decision, the next accreditation procedure must be completed within five years.
