Learning objectives

Application of basic, theoretical-methodological, scientific-expert and professional-applied knowledge and methods to solving specific problems within the chosen field of research. As part of the study research work, the student studies the problem, its structure and complexity and, based on the conducted analyses, draws conclusions about possible ways of solving it. By studying the literature, the student gets acquainted with the latest knowledge in the field of research, methods that can be applied to solve similar problems.

Learning outcomes

The ability of the student to engage in scientific and research work, analyze and process the obtained research results, write and communicate seminar papers, scientific and professional papers and prepare the final paper.

Course contents

Study research work. Literature search, planning and conducting experiments and research in the field of Food Engineering, i.e. Food Technologies of Plant and Animal Origin, Biochemical Engineering and Food and Beverage Quality Management and Control, as well as processing the obtained results.

Evaluation and grading

During the implementation of this part of the final thesis, the mentor, in agreement with the student, selects the research topic, provides the necessary explanations in order to facilitate understanding of the material: gives instructions to the student regarding the search, analysis and processing of professional and scientific literature and research results in order to ensure the quality of preparation for the creation and defense of the final thesis.
