Learning objectives

Gaining knowledge about the connection between the theory of social work with the theories of other social sciences; acquisition of knowledge about the characteristics, contributions and weaknesses of different theories of social work; the influence of theories on the practice of social work; understanding the characteristics of the modern theory of social work.

Learning outcomes

Understanding the importance of theories for the social work profession; training students to apply theories of social work in future practice.
