Learning objectives

The student will be able to: fast and easy upgrade of the acquired knowledge; ability to analyze and synthesize; ability to obtain and analyze the information; having the competence in general engineering disciplines such as thermodynamics, basics of mechanical and electrical engineering, technology of materials; sublimation of knowledge in the field of mining, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, as system sciences for the purposes of the mechanical maintenance, exploitation and design of mining mechanization; the idea of economical use of natural resources is inherently based, in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.

Learning outcomes

The students acquire the knowledge to be able to make the right choice of materials for the production of the certain construction parts, equipment and machines for mining. Due to insufficient knowledge of the material, in practice it is very often possible to cause failures, breakage, irrational usage, etc.
