Geomechanics
Mineralogy with petrology
Rock and soil mechanics
Studied mineralogy with petrology
Rock and soil mechanics laid down
The main goal of the course is to introduce mining students to the basic methods of calculating lateral soil pressures, analysis of slope and slope stability, calculation of soil stress from additional load and permissible soil load, soil settlement due to additional load and underground exploitation, calculation of underground and pit pressure and dimensioning security pillars.
After listening and passing the course, students will master basic calculation methods in geomechanical research.
1. Introduction. Definition and methods of geomechanics. 2. Lateral soil pressures. Active and passive soil pressure on supporting walls. 3. Instability phenomena of slopes and slopes. 4. Methods for analyzing the stability of slopes and slopes - circular sliding surface. 5. Methods for analyzing the stability of slopes and slopes - irregular (cylindrical) sliding surface. 6 .Determining the position of critical sliding surfaces.7. Criteria for the formation of stable disposal sites for mining waste. 8. Calculation of stress in the soil from additional load on the surface of the terrain. 9. Calculation of the limit and permissible load of shallow foundations. 10. Calculation of the limit and permissible load of deep foundations. 11. Calculation of ground subsidence in sandy and clayey soil, and due to underground exploitation. 12 .Calculation of secondary stress around underground rooms of different cross-sections. 13. Concept and types of underground pressures. 14. Concept and types of protective pillars. 15. Pit (mountain) impact.
