Understanding the theoretical foundations and main characteristics of social work in the community; training for the complementary application of theoretical and methodological approaches in social work; insight into the importance of social work in the community as a basis for the action-integrative type of social work practice.
Qualification of students for the application of social work in the community in professional practice; understanding the specifics of social work in the community in relation to the other two theoretical-methodical approaches (social work with an individual and social work with a group).

Nastava na predmetu će se izvoditi predstavljanjem tema u vidu predavanja i pauer-point prezentacija, razgovorom o pitanjima iz nastavne materije, čitanjem zadanih materijala, prezentacijom primjera socijalnog rada u zajednici, pisanjem kolokvija i radova iz predispitnih obaveza.
