The aim of the course is that students, through theoretical and practical work, acquire the knowledge necessary for professional and creative thinking and action in the field of industrial design.

Introduction and history of industrial design; Basic principles of industrial design; Ergonomics and anthropometry; Material production and design; Components and design principles; Formative design elements; Awareness of form and elements of form; Building elements of forms, relations and logical forms; Principles of combining elements and principles of construction; Design methodology; Comparative characteristics of the unique and serial product; Industrial design; Design development stages; Product design and redesign; Development of ideas, sketches, three-dimensional design; Materials; Product presentation – drawing.
