Learning objectives

Understanding the theoretical basics and practical principles of designing and conducting experiments in the laboratory and in situ. Practical solution of tasks in the field of testing and foundation of building structures.

Learning outcomes

Successful cadidate is capable of developing and analyzing methods for measuring crack parameters in rocks, rock masses or in soil. At the same time, the candidate is expected to develop methods for the analysis of soft rock decomposition as well as to successfully select the parameters required to solve engineering problems in rock massifs or in soil.
