Introduction to the elements of urban rail systems.

Learning outcomes

Ability for design, build and maintain urban rail systems.

Course contents

Tram system, light rail transit, urban and suburban railway and metro system. Elements of layout plan, longitudinal and cross sections profiles for different types of urban rail systems.
Selection of the solutions for superstructure construction for different types of urban rail systems. Connection of urban rail systems with other types of traffic.
