Learning objectives

The objective of the course is to familiarize students with the elements of perspective drawing as a basic architectural graphic communication. The visual presentation of architecture includes also modern visual media such as graphic software: AutoCAD, ARHICAD, SketchUp, Rhinoceros ... suitable for visualization and materialization of the 3-D model.

Learning outcomes

The student is acquainted with the basic elements of the layout of perspective drawing in analog and digital form. Upon successful completion of the course, the student is able to manually and digitally construct a perspective sketch of the object, determine the position of the shadow, and present the object digitally with all its shadows and materialization.

Course contents

Elements of perspective - eye point, object, licorice, horizon; Point in perspective; Line in perspective; Plane in perspective; Shading: central and parallel lighting; Digital tools for architectural presentation; Perspective in digital media; Shadow in digital media.
