Practical classes in geodesy
Geodetic metrology, Surveying 2, Theoretical geodesy, Physical geodesy, Satellite geodesy, Practical classes in surveying
To attend classes, passed exam in the subject Geodetic metrology and completed classes in Surveying 2, Theoretical Geodesy, Physical Geodesy and Satellite Geodesy. To take the final exam, passed exams in the subjects Geodetic metrology and Practical classes in surveying.
To train students through practical work for independent work in geodetic networks, with different types of geodetic instruments.
Course outcome: Students are able to independently perform different types of geodetic measurements in geodetic networks. Based on the performed measurements, students form a study.
Theoretical classes: None. (Theoretical basis are taught in the subjects Geodetic metrology, Theory of Satellite Positioning, Geodetic Astronomy and Geodetic Reference frames)
Practical classes: Exercises (Measurement of horizontal angles. Distance measurement. Measurement of zenith distances. Precise levelling. Measurements using GPS technology. Astronomical measurements. Gravimetry.)
